I ws thinking the exact same earlier. thinking of getting my alloys done in a different colour but couldn't decide wether to go white or a darker colour. Still can't make up my mind.

Personally i think black alloys only really suite black cars.
But saying that, i wouldn't put white 1's on a silver car!
suppose its all really personal taste really!?

I wouldn't go for black. Some sort of anthracite colour i think could look ok, saw a red MK3 on here with anthracite wheels and it looked pretty good.

Unless you love cleaning your car... cause white alloys are a right pain to keep clean.

What colour is your car?? Black on a red car. White on a black car.

Basically couple months back I was thinking of having my wheels refurbished in black for that proper mean look. But decide against it as that would of been far too much black on one car. So I stuck with white and I'm quite glad I did (even if the DO get filthy after 10 miles of driving them).

Here is a photo with two black valvers, one with white wheels ( ) and one with black ones. I know which set I prefer

Would you wear white shoes?

Too many chavs have the black with polished lip alloys. Wolfrace octane pops into mind.

As for white shoes.................I have 3 pairs of all white shoes (and 1 pair of black steel toe caps)

its got to be black, i reckon a red gti looks proper mean with black, it blends in nicely with the black trim of the car
