who actually owns a mk1 toledo

hi im just wondering how many people on here actually own a mk1 toledo as most seem to be the mk2 owners can we get a head count and maybe a page just dedicated to the mk1 as when looking through the forum i have come across a few questions from mk1 owners without a single reply

W....2000 reg...176k on the clock 2.0lr...8 valve...and I think its a cracking car...only had it a few weeks.

mine i owned for a week and it then bobbed up and i aint been able to drive it since runs great when cold but once warm u got no chance

ive used 10 euro in fuel just with it running on my drive not even moving anywhere trying to figure it out

Mine cut out twice when it got hot..it just stopped......it came up with a hall sensor fault...but then with the coil pack going ime hoping that the problem is solved.
Hope you get yours sorted too.

Did you get it sorted..coil pack seems to have sorted mine.

Iv got one with a 20v turbo in it. Needs finishing before its unveiling!

Mk 1 Toledo TDI Sport

Bit late in the year maybe, but I'm now on my third Toledo 1 (All TDI's). The most practical medium sized car I've owned and also the cheapest to run. Shame about the non-existant rust protection though, over here in Sweden the salted winter roads just gobble them up with rust! All of mine have returned at least 56 mpg and the best I've had on a 1,000 mile round trip to Dalarna is 67 mpg with an av speed of 100 kph.
