Who has had missfire/emission related problems.Mines broke again?

My car is still in since Monday. Don't know when I'm getting mine back for the same problem!! Never mind! I just hope it gets fixed.. Supposedly had 5 fault codes :s

We tried to get them to give us a new car but they said no... even though have practically gave me one in bits at a time

I badly want a remap but if I'd to get it and the faults appear again they will put the blame on the remap and take nothing to do with it

Snap mine had 5 faults aswell lol

They think mine is Ecu problem now

My garage don't even notice the remap! Just get it done!
Its been plugged in, driven and dismantled with no notice of my remap. I wouldn't worry, just don't mention it!

They can't see a Revo map anyway...

Mine had issues - eventually new coil packs & plugs fitted at the same time fixed it - fitted seperately, it didnt. This seems to be the case for a few mk6 Golfs. I got the car back on December 23 and have done 3000 miles in January with no issues.

Hi,

I had a new ECU when 2 months old. I hade varion fault codes and was unable to start the engine on many occasions. Solved the problem!! Mins a 1.6 petrol DSG Sport
