Yea so would I Ben said it will give much more mid range punch :) will be so much fun then its amazing now can't imagine what it will be like then

i spoke to REVO on friday. They said they are going to produce a stage 2 which will only require a downpipe, then a stage 2+ which will be the all sing all dancing setup which will need the intercooler, intake and TBE.

They are doing it this way as not many people will be able to afford the full shebang in one go for the intercooler, TBE etc, so are making it available in more broken down stages. Gets them more business, and makes it more affordable and accessible for everyone.

Another reason is that they say the intercoolers really struggle as well, so unless you have the IC they cant maximise the stage 2 at the moment

So I could just get the downpipe and stage 2 map, then slowly add things funds dependant?

That would be correct. Lucky I already have the twintercooler and induction kit so it's all good hehehehehehe

they said either just the downpie or you could even go for a decat. but yeah that is their plan. Makes sense really, not many people will be able to afford the full stage 2+ outlay in one go, they'll get alot more business releasing more stages.

Ill do it in stages i reckon

:( want stage 2+ now maximise my performance its such a quick car going to be ridiculous with it running perfect.

what are your predictions for the 1/4 now.

what are guys on average manageing for

Stock
Stage 1 with full interior
stage 1 with full interior and track tyres
stage 1 with stripped interior and track tyres
etc

i will be stripping as much of my interior out as poss and hopefully have stage 2+ and will find out what i can do low 13's poss high 12's would be amazing might have pro race 1.2s aswell

if you can find track tyres in 2154017 or anything with the same rolling radius ill be very impressed

thats not the only tyre sizze that will fit your alloys whilst staying legal

http://www.alloywheels.com/tyrecalc.asp

Tyre code Diameter Circumference Difference
---------- -------- ------------- ----------
215/30 R18 586 mm 1841 mm -1.61 %
225/30 R18 592 mm 1860 mm -0.6 %
235/30 R18 598 mm 1879 mm 0.4 %
205/35 R18 601 mm 1888 mm 0.82 %
215/35 R18 608 mm 1910 mm 2 %
205/30 R19 606 mm 1904 mm 1.64 %

basically as long as the rolling radius of the tyre does not alter by more than 2.5% it is legal.
So plenty more options for the track tyre

But surely that's defeated the object a bit your going to have to buy track tyres in bigger sizes with bigger wheels resulting in more weight it would counteract the effect of the tyres I would just go for some conti sport contact 3's giving a little bit less grip but will save on the weight??

Don't know I'm not a regular ask reece he is up there all the time might be up this weekend with streetbeef and his boc get a few people up there will be cool will defo clean it this time though lol

why woukd you have top change wheels????

as in my post above you could fit 235/30R18 or 225/30R18 track tyres on your standard alloy, so no need to change
