Who's Waiting For Their Ibiza

Hello, I've been waiting patiently for my new f/l ibiza now for about a month, just wondering how many people were in the same boat, what you've ordered and what dates you've been given. I was told loosely the 15th but i think that was an obvious guess for the dealer and he did tell me not to hold my breath as i'd requested quite a few optional extras - i'm waiting for a 1.4 Black met Ibiza Stylance spec with optional alloys and lux pk 1. Seems from other posts that i've probably got quite a long wait because of the extras. Going to ring the dealer sometime next week for an update. Just wondering what dates the rest of you have been given or any relevent info you've heard regarding it.

Hi getting my 1.8T FR next sat 15th,but no extras on it except metallic paint,the dealer said lux packs usually take up to 12 weeks to get so I did not bother,I ordered it 3 weeks ago

Ahh those were the days. I ordered mine in 2002, IIRC waited about 4-5 months and got it in March 2003. Wait was due to having lots of options, plus at the time there was a shortage of TDI 130 engines throughout VW/Audi/Seat...

So I sympathise with anyone facing a long wait !

Clifford's replacement will be orderd in Feb, for delivery may '07

Options
1) Ibiza FR pd130
2) Leon 1.6 Stylance
3) leon Reference 1.9 pdi

Almost ruled out 1.6 petrol, coz it's gutless, and thirsty
Leon Reference has no toys £700 more than the Essence, and only gains aircon, not even climate

So, Ibiza Fr is currently way out in the lead as a replacement for Current Ibiza.
Downside is crap colours the facelift is available in, need to see one in Zenith
