Why did this happen

Drove to work this morning and i went around a bend..to slow but not stupidly quick either, and a error light came on, the one that looks like ((!)) and beeped a few times and thats it..

could be, my brakes have been squealing abit so might need to change. I assume it went off cos the fluid got chucked about abit as i went around the corner.....

If your pads are low your fluid level too can be low, this is no doubt the cause of your problem.
