Why do Seat always have Awkward Battery locations.

Okay., Battery has died in my mk2. so swapping the new battery from my mk3 into it.
One Problem.. my mk2 battery doesnt want to budge.. its like its glued in. is there a bolt that im not seeing??
ive cut my hand countless time off the inside arches lol


reminds me off changing a lightbulb in the mk3.. the batterty was in the way.

big bolt on the clamp at the front

uh ? awkward ? probably one of the easiest simplest there is


front lower edge there's a 13mm bolt in a clamp half way along holding it into the tray

back edge is slotted in to a lip so once bolt/clamps out luift front slide forward slightly and lift

you should try finding the battery in some of the things Ive driven, let alone take them out.

haha, yup all done.. next step is wiring them speakers.

which i aint looking forward to.. as me and wires are like cookies and potatos... they just dont go well together.

i've used some push fit connectors either side on mine so if i need the shelf out it takes all of 2 sec to unplug and pull it

worth taping/fixing em flush to the board too or you'll be cursing when ya rip em off putting the shopping in the boot - been there
