dunno, my rear ones seem to steam up often, i think when the car gets damp, e.g. wet feet its the cause!

CupraTgirl - just put the AC on, clears them all straight away for me.

and generally when i read the thread topic i thought hmm there cant be too much, but when i started reading the list its sooo true, but overall im happy with the best car ive had.

So far the two biggest issues with the Mk3 Ibiza Cupra and Leon Cupra have been missed..

1) Needing to brake on motorway on-roads to level the speed out to join traffic
2) The ease with which 110mph can be reached, making it very easy to collect loyalty points from the police force of your choice

If the car didn't squeak or need replacement Intercoolers or need paint re-touching the whole time, 80% of people on this forum wouldn't know what to do with themselves. Me included.

TBH i think most of the problems are experienced through modifying the car.

The std intercooler is efficent enough for std power.

the maf's are a problem on most cars.. esp when using aftermarket filters

all cars rattle when getting to 4 - 6 years old

if you bought the ibiza and left it totally standard it would be a lot more reliable, but such is the fun in modifying that little things like that happen :)

just be thankful its not the most expensive car to repair :p

All my problems have been down to sh*t parts on behalf of SEAT/VAG.

I've had just about everything go wrong a some point!!

I totally agree with point 2 in regards to doing a speed of 110mph easily ;)

Not yet but the car is off the road at mow as im getting some engine bits polished, it ran with the ko3s for a month before hand so it must have been when i messed with the vac pipes

As for this thread, i do love my car but do get abit down some times.

i see a few people have said that they have had problems with the paint! i have noticed that bits on my car look cloudy like they havent put enough paint on it!

is there a paint warrenty?

as for the rattles and creeks from the seats and dash that just does my head in!

havent had my cupra long but that high pitched sqeak coming from the glovebox area is doing my head in lol i saw thread i while back about people trying to solve this anybody succeed ? oh and  @ police loyalty points

My car is Ovni and the paint flaked off the roof had to get it resprayed, n/s window dropped one night needed a new motor, water pump packed in, coil pack packed in, exhaust snapped, temp sender packed in and there is more i forgot but i dont care, i love the car plus i get all bits at cost and labour is free.

My interior is rattle and squeek free (none at all).:p

You guys worry me, haha!

Had my car for a few weeks now, the only thing i can see thats wrong is the exhaust and a slight noise from one of the suspension struts.

My mum has a mk2 ibiza and that thing takes a hammering, me and my brother learn to drive in it. The car just keeps going and going, it's done 70k now and is still as reliable as the day we bought it years and years ago.

I bought into Cupra ownership hoping for the same sort of reliability.

LOL avoid french cars in general! I've seen too many crashed saxo's where the engines have ended up atleast 15 metres from the rest of the car!
