Just seen this for sale and just wondered why someone would ruin the rear end or the fr+

Guess they use the boot alot so this stops the bumper from being scratched up, i see where your coming from though.

They have made it look awful imo, you cant even remove it as you know with onvi its going to be a totaly different colour underneath or even worse will probably remove the lacquer with it.

I wish I had done that to my ibiza a few months back. I tried to put a bike in the boot and the chain took a massive gouge out of my bumper.

May not look great but I'm sure it serves a purpose for owner.

hhmmm not the greatest thing to do. surely you could just have gotten a yellow bit of vinyl wrap and it would have done the same job?? and looked better

I had this on my B6 Passat but the car was black so didnt look so bad, its not smooth finish so better protection in most cases taking items in/out the boot.

I put one on my other half's gt golf (after she reversed into another car) was a nice cheap fix and hid all damage!

Perhaps a dog owner where it's in & out alot, doesn't look the best admittedly ! Same maybe for mountain biker/bmx or keen golfer!

Coloured vinyl or clear protection film would have been a better given OE colour but would hardly say it's ruined! May indicate careful owner wouldn't put me off purchasing at right price 

Most cars this age will have faults now albeit some less obvious
