Will coilovers from leon to toledo fit?

Hello people!, Ive just bought myself a mk2 2004 toledo, will a set of coilovers for a seat leon mk1 fit my toledo? if anyone could give me some advice here because im not too sure and cant wait to get her lowered!http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/images/styles/SeatCupra/smilies/smile.gif

Is it the mk2 Toledo that is based on the Leon (same front end/interior), if so then YES they will fit, as will coilovers from an Audi A3, VW Bora or Mk4 Golf

Yea its mk2 model with the long back (saloon), thanks alot m8 just wasnt to sure if they would fit or not!

They will physically fit, but you should try and get as close to the same size engine as possible to ensure the springs are up to the job.

You will find the cheapest option is the mark 4 Golf, I was finding Golf suspension at least £20 cheaper than SEAT ones. Despite it being marked up as the same part number!

Thats because they are 70% the same, however no everyone knows that and will pay more for 'rarer' seat parts.

I've been lookin at the coilovers described as being 1.9tdi leon shocks so think they should handle the ride alright, so Engimaneer you say that the mk4 golf coilovers are the same as the leon 1's?

Yes, its the same suspension set-up and fitment.
A lot of the car is the same, the VAG group have an amazong profit making idea there.
