Thing is, when i come to sell the car in the future will this up the value at all ?due to it being authentic seat parts and anyone know how much it would bump up insurance? Also ONE more question :D How much would it cost for a seat dealer to fit it? Guess I could go to the one in Aberdeen Al ?

Main stealer in Aberdeen will want top £ for fitting the kit.

The bumpers are not hard to fit yourself although the spoiler and skirts are a little more tricky due to needing bonded on.

None of this will put any value on the car - it will either attract or put people off buying your car when the time comes.

If you get bumpers, you could just take them off when you sell it and put the originals back on. Skirts and spoiler wont come off without needing parts touched up or repainted on the car.

As for insurance, best to check but definitely get the car insured to have them. Price will depend on policy and age.

Im with quinn so may just give them a buzz tommorow ask them how much it would increase by, I was informed that if a car has original manufacture parts added to it the insurance may increase but not by much perhaps I was misinformed? For example Seat body kit vs replica.. same with alloys etc. Cheers for all the feedback al really helps, p.s You still considering looking out your black cupra grill ? :)

Word of advice - don't buy replica body kits as the quality on them tends to be crap and they will never act like a proper OEM bumper safety wise.

Must be an age thing, maybe when im an auld codger ill wet myself over cupra bumpers, skirts and spoiler :)

Err let me think about that for a nanosecond...... No :)

Skirts and spoiler with those bumpers would look the biz though ;)

Paisley freight. USE THE CALCULATOR though, don't pay the pre listed prices. I got a bumper shipped for £6.80 LOL.

As for insurance...tricky one. I didn't have my BTCC kit declared and it was replaced no questions asked!!

Already contacted insurance, the price will not go up as its not declared as a custom body kit as its an original seat part :D

The bumper I sent was from a clio 172 and it weighed in at 2.5kg, that was with all grills and bumper padding still attached.

Bumpers are no more than 5-10kg each but it depends if its boxed/wrapped - that will maybe weigh more than the bumper itself.
