Will this gearbox fit?

Bassically im finding it hard to find an 02J gearbox for my cupra,

but this came up and seems cheap enough, but would it fit? i pm'd the guy but dunno if he is just saying yes just so he can get rid of it or what...

can anyone shed any light as i would pick it up this weekend if it would fit...

02m 6 Speed gearbox from a 2003 Golf MK4 1.8T AUQ with 54k on clock

This is a 2wd gearbox so is NOT suitable for 4wd/4 motion models

Comes with a good clutch/flywheel thrown in.

It will bolt to your engine, but will foul the chassis leg (a lot)

So it's no use to you

Would i not be able to modify the chassis leg to fit it in? or is there just no point lol.

Most of the chassis leg will need to be removed...
