Right havent updated this in a while, have done a few things recently :)

- tinted all rear windows in a light tint (not dark enough imo but its 'subtle' :p)
- tinted side repeaters
- recovered headlining in faux suede (still need to do all the pillars either in suede or sprayed black)
- fitted a few horns from the scrap yard!
- matte vinyl wrapped the pillars (exterior)
- fixed light warning beeper thingy
- and most importantly BOUGHT COILOVERS :D

I have just got to find the time to fit the coilies now.... really cant wait!

Car looks good mate, nice and tidy. Another one with great paintwork by the look of it :)

Have you got a photo of your alloy over the drum brakes?

Thanks, well the paintwork is ok (came with lots of small dents and scratches that i need to get rid of! ).

I dont think I ever took a picture after I put the alloys back on because I was in a rush but I will take one tomorrow for you!

Damn forgot to take picture today, I shall take one tomorrow i promise :) (not much to see really though apart from lack of rust :p )

haha thats ok mate, just wondered how noticeable it was, I've seen painted drums before and i hated them with a passion. But i'm thinking black behind the alloy might look good

Think the front needs to go down a little and although its against the rules ;) the back needs to go up a tad (constant scrubbing)! I give my splitter a week before I will have killed it

Thanks! Ye if I'm honest it will probably go up some after a bit once the novelty has worn off...

£200 ish for budget coilovers (just couldnt justify getting weitecs when its a 1.4 and I am not sure how long I will keep it etc) - They seem ok but then they are wound down a fair way so I didnt expect a nice comfortable ride :p

Think it needs a cupra spoiler but apart from that not sure what to do next (that I can afford!!)?

Havent been on here in agesss! Erm havent really done a lot tbh, started uni now so dont really have money to play with, I have now wrapped all pillars in suede and changed rear view mirror to black one... Also got a personalized plate for my birthday which is now on!

I am hoping to sell car soon and trade up to something with an engine, we will see how that goes, need to save a bit first though!

Well I re-did headlining in faux suede so I decided pillars needed to match! I'll take some pics tomorrow, I don't think I have any yet! I just need to sort sun visors and handles on roof and then will all match :)

this is looking great mate and like wise here i have a black cupra spoiler and it makes the car ten times better :D and as for the suede roof and pillars i'd love to see this as my mate has done his in his clio and would love to see if its worth doing in my car :p as for that yellow white gungk in the breather its imusified oil pretty much of them have it but the car breathes alot better if you clear the whole system (awkward if doing the whole thing) but worth it if you want to fit an induction kit hit me up as its a massive faff if you dont know what you need and you dont want oil everywhere :p

havent been on here for ageeeesss as have been at uni and havent really done anything to car, I would recommended getting the right glue for the headlining however as my headlining was all sagging when i came back to drive my car after leaving it for a month at the beginning of uni...

Looking for new car at the min, hopefully Ibiza Fr TDI, want something with a bit more grunt and low insurance! Also as have 280 mile trip to uni and back need something a bit more economical as the 1.4 is pretty terrible tbh, esp on the motorway as have to push it to get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time!!

Good and bad update...

A while ago I had an accident in my little Ibiza, went into back of mk5 golf when he broke really hard (obvs any incident when you go in the back of somebody is my fault :( )

Was only about 20-30mph on slip road to m4

Here is the outcome :( somebody is coming to pick it up later, didnt go through insurance as I had £1250 excess and didn't want to pay billions next time round!

So basically would cost a fair bit to get back on road for me...

Here is the extensive damaged to the guy I hit....

I asked not to go through insurance and offered to give him cash then and there... He was fine and said he would be in touch with quote for touch up, next morning I wake up with about 50 calls from insurance company :(

Little d**k also claimed injury so added £500 to claim after saying he was absolutely fine to both me and highways agency man who was unusually helpful!

Now the for the good part :D

New car on Friday!

And I'm loving it, I'll put a thread up for it soon !!
