Lately due to the damp weather the windows mist up quickly when stopped, they seem to take a while to clear even with the blower going full blast, I get air from the central vent in the dash top and a few little streams of air (6 maybe 8) from the extreme front edge under the screen, is this normal? I have changed the pollen filter and started to leave the drivers window slightly open(handy things wind deflectors) to see if it'll help.
My sister in laws Arosa is as bad at steamy windows, maybe it's a Seat thing.

Press the windscreen button, it will activate the air con, which, because it's blowing dry air at the screen clears it much quicker.

Air con isn't only for summer!
.

Mine steam up as well mate (see above)

Shutting the middle vent off or using the front window heat button
(above rear window heater on / off switch if yours is the same) works for me...

I was having problems in winter with heavy misting and even the inside of the windscreen getting ice build up. So bought one of these of eBay and it works a treat. Best £12 I have spent.

So where do you put it then...on the dash when not in use? How long do they last before they need to be replaced? If it works a treat then may invest as I'm fed up of the condensation!...and the ice on the inside in really cold weather! :censored:

All I do with mine is leave it in the passenger footwell, back of the mat near seat. I have mine in all year round never take it out. Then once a year just dry it out in microwave and away you go. Wouldn't put it on dash looks ugly.

Always used the air-con(dryer air) but this car seems worse than others just seems the air vents could have been better positioned, i'll pick up a big bag a gel from work and leave it as suggested, can't do any harm, cheers guys.
