Windscreen heater vents

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions, a key as slid down the windscreen de-mister vents on my dash, its gone past the little foam bit that you can reach. Is there an easy(ish) way of gettin in those vents?

can you see the key at all?
if so have you tried one of those magnet pointer things..
looks like an aerial but has magnet on the end to help recover screws etc..
just a thought though.

yeh could see a reflection in the windscreen, tried coaxing it out with a magnet stick but it was caught half under the foam and ended it pushing it bak further towards the steering wheel lol
