Hope it goes okay for you! I personally used cable ties and wrapped it around the mirror then pulled! Worked okay for me!

Also on another note, the wing mirror covers they did send were not right at all, i specified GLOSS black and and i get a plain black (bumper trim colored) caps instead!

Happy with result, the trim tool was the ideal tool for the job!

I'm quite tempted to do a video guide on mirror removal coz you guys are making it sound so complicated lol and by the sounds of it more likely to break something than by doing it my way. No way would I be trying to pry the mirror glass out, I'd almost definitely break something

Honestly using the trim tool and wrapping a microfibre cloth over it to protect the mirror and plastic casing you literally push the mirror aside and prise the mirror of slowly. Works a treat no clips snapped either! :D

Next time I have to take a pair off I will. It quite literally involves a slap on the bottom of a screwdriver and a bit of wiggling it about to loosen the clips off then bosh the new ones on. Time involved is about 1 minute per mirror and I've not broken anything lol Even if you did break a clip on the old mirror caps, you'll most likely be binning those anyway
