Are the mk4 Golf mirrors the same as the Leon?

they are the same as the earlier pre 03 reg cars!

03 plate was the last of the Golf style mirrors, but some 03 plates had the later 'teardrop' style mirrors. But to answer your question, yes, they are the same.

A nice little mod is to fit the blue tinted mirror glass from the Golf

yeh i wanted the blue tint but i have the teardrop shape!! anyone know where i can get the blue for this shape mirror????

I've got an 03 plate LCR (non-teardrop mirrors).
Just want to make 100% sure these are the correct ones?:
