workshop manual request

Is there a link to a workshop manual anywhere or can some kind person mail it to me

Would buy a cd but got to check out some details

Go to a well known internet auction site and look for ELSAWIN for SEAT

Also available for AUDI, SKODA and VW

Its the electronic manual with descriptions, drawings and specs.

Usually about £10 inc postage.

It's the same manual that the dealers use for workshop tasks

i have a seat service and repair disc but cant install it on my computer, was only a £5 from ebay have to get my computer friendly mate to sort it for me!

There are a few on ebay offering a two disc set up, one for the installation programme and the other with all the workshop stuff, would be interested to know if anyone has one of these and does it work.

iv got it it doesnt work, well i tried insalling it and it wont work, if i can get someone that knows about computers to have a go it may work. The seller said turn off all anti virus software on installation! It was only a £5 so im not too bothered

I have it and it works fine. Its a bit of a long winded install procedure, but there are instructions with it.

yes there are instructions i followed them but it comes up with an error everytime i get near the end so annoying! It says an error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destiantion directory, move file failed, code 5 access denied-WTF??!

Mine is a two disc version. disc one is elsawin, disc two is the seat specific info.

Had no problems with the install & it works very well.

Deano, I have Elsawin but cannot find the info I need, how do you find part numbers for specific parts and trim ?

I don't think you can get part numbers from ELSAWIN.

ELSAWIN is like a Haynes manual - it tells you what to do and how to do it.

You can get service tool numbers from the exploded diagrams & method descriptions.

I belive you would need ETKA for the part numbers

This is ETKA which does show part numbers etc... but some are specific to country too...

Tried to get leather door cards for the ibiza but SEAT UK don't stock/supply them.

Got ELSAWIN too, but not looked at it yet.

If someone wants a disc, PM me.

I've got it too but yet to install it, everytime i did i got a different error each time, or when it finally installed it didnt work right

But if anyones after a copy let me know, i might be nice enough to mail it

I got my Elsawin working it has stopeed working once since then but i will only use it when fitting stuff to see how to take something apart and it should do the job
