worst day of my life

Hey ppl,

Crashed my car today into the back of a Ring and Ride! Its a mess was doing 30mph and it slammed on its breaks, i wasnt concentrating fully and when i realised i had about 2ft to stop. much to say it went bang, airbags went off and the front is a mess hopefully it can be repaired. Not sure how strong the chasys are on the leon. I can see the drivers end and it looks like most of the impact was taken by the front beam.

the damage without the chasy looks like:
n/s wing
bonnet
headlights
bumper
all grills
radiator
various engine bay trims
airbags.

Id post some pics but dont know how!

my legs a bit bruised from hitting the dash under the stearing column.

some better pics after a little self examination!

in all with the leg bieng so crumpled not sure now! :-(

Sorry to hear that chap, hope it works out. Those bloody airbags, in the US if they go off the cars written off no matter what the damage. Hope that's not the same in your case.

pretty much the same damage as mine apart from the airbags didnt go off on me!

ur lookin abt £4000 for the front end repair and the airbags im not too sure abt the price but it definately go again. The chassis legs are quite strong on the leon! so i doubt it will rite the car off, as they are holding there value.
