Hey guys could you please tell me would a 1.9tdi exhaust (magnex) fit a 1.8t? Want to buy a cheap exhaust system and was wondering would one of these do, and what would I need to adapt?

I don't see why it couldn't be made to fit. The 1.8t and the TDI have the same floor plan and the exhaust runs the same way. Just the connection to the catalyst may differ slightly.
Some members on here have fitted standard TDI exhausts to their 1.2 with a bit of cutting and welding.

iirc you can pick up the Magnex systems for around £100 (cat back)bertrum

The pipe bore on the magnex pipe (at the connecting point) is 50mm, it then steps up to ~55mm. Get some verniers on your exhaust just after the cat and see what the bore is!

so you have it fitted to a 1.4? So that means all you need to do it find the correct reducer/ enlarger?
