Would a Race cat be enough with standaard pipe

Hey guys,

someone i know on a other forum has doen a race kat with a milltek exhaust modification.

do you guys know that if you only put the race kat in would it make much of a difference ?

i dont like the milltek tip from the exhaust and this would only cost me about 200 euro's instead of the full 1400 euros voor a full milltek system...

so the bottem line would it get the extra HP or just 2 or 5 HP extra ?

doesnt even look like a race cat, more like a decat pipe. why dont you get the full system done and if you like like the milltek back box then use another brand, they should all interchange.

Have you see the new Milltek LCR tail pipe ?

Theres no way that pipe in the picture is a cat,

yeah sorry guys its a de-cat

but this would cost me only 195 euros, the full milltek would cost me 1400 euros with the race cat.

this would be very easy and cheap to get more power, if it does add power. because i need to bolt back the original cat for the MOT every year !

You will gain from this pipe but it costs to much. Go to uk ebay and you can buy a scorpion decat for £100. Also the scorpion one looks more free flowing than the one in the pic.

by the looks of it the one i mentioned is with 90ish degree elbows the other one is with straight pipes welded togheter so it gives a better flow

yes it should fit straight on, mine did. the second lambda will screw straight in to the decat.
