I have had a 184 FR diesel in at work on a demo and its so much better to drive than the Cupra, I acctually hated get back into the Cupra after driving the FR. It actually made me glad I was getting rid of it.

I had a 184 FR diesel and test drove a Cupra 280DSG which was so much better to drive that I actually hated getting back in the FR so I bought the Cupra ... nothing like individual preference

so you prefer the slower, awful-sounding common-as-muck FR 184 over a top of the range Cupra? Each to their own.

I prefer the A4 2.0 TDI to the RS4

Are you being serious, what is the problem with the Cupra, too exp to run against the diesel?

went on Trackday many moons back with CupraR & I hated it coz it had little low down torque.
Was so happy when I got back in my mk1 FR 150TDi
