x car link dosnt work like it should

i have just fitted my ipod xcarlink to my mk3 cupra and i cant change the trake on the cd play, i have to do it on the i pod. on the cd play it says cd3 track 30 all the time? Who knows what the problam is??

Which Ipod is it? The newest ones (Iphone 3G, Ipod Touch 2G, new Nano) work slightly differently, so require a different version
