xcarlink/cd changer quick question

can you still use your cd changer wells having the xcarlink plugged in?

ok thank you, is it just a double tap on 1 of the numbers or something to use the changer?

Right just fitted my cd changer and now wouldn't work with xcarlink so I took xcarlink out and the changer worked fine

Press CD, then press radio or tape the press CD again. Voila you've now got access to the changer.

just been looking through the forum and i realised you say youve fitted the xcarlink, what model and year is your car? and is it easy to fit??

I've fitted them into my 2001 'S' and my 2002 Cupra. It's really easy to fit, 1 plug.

just one question, for sherif that said he has a cd changer in an ibiza 6k.
Could you please make a photo of the location of the Cd Changer?

My gf has this car and i searched for the plug the entire car(under seats, glovebox, trunk) but i simply couldn't find it. The hu unit has the plug inserted, but can't find where it ends .

should i look in a specific location? tear the cover of the boot to find the wiring?
