Well deserved and respectful replies, nice to see a forum which doesn't hound people for being different or not modifying a car to the so called 'norm'
Love the wheels they are awesome, and its not my cup of tea i wouldnt do it myself.
If it were mine i would remove all the chrome other than wing mirros and remove the shopping list aswell as the meshed grille and then i think it would be a top motor.
It's nice to see something different that has been followed all the way through - no compromise ... and the fact that it's not OEM styled ... well it's just nice to see a totally different direction in styling.
I have a question for you: I've been trying to get my dashboard out, but I pull and I pull (cutting my hands along the edgy plastic... ) and it just won't come out... How did you do it?
You're right, that wasn't easy to remove the dashboard. There is TWO connectors, which You must disconnect, but there is no space to see it. Maybe this photo helps You. Start with left one, which is classic "Click" connector. Then You can turn board to see second one, but it has some safety lock (pink on green connector). Carefully release pink lock and pull connector out. Then it is a little teaser, but You must get upper side of dashboard first, then You can remove it fully...
PS: Don't forget to pull out steering wheel to its max&down position...
I did remove the upper side and I did move the steering wheel out of the way, I didn't know you were supposed to un-click the two connectors -before- pulling the dashboard out.
Are you very sure of that? 'Cause if I un-click them and then I can't remove the dashboard for some reason it will be -impossible- to click them back into place.
nice mate, for the current UK modding scene its a bit 'out there' but it looks good, only real thing i dont like is the petrol cap, looks a bit cheap but the rest has been done really well
car looks very different from any other on here,i quite like that back end. would be intrested to see how this looks when you get the reverse and and fog put on.
