Yellow oil leak from Mech unit?

Sorry if I sound ignorant but isn't green oil typically used for the mechatronics unit and yellow for the gearbox?

I am questioning this because it appears clear, yellow oil is leaking from the mech unit. The drain plug for the gearbox is further away from where this leak is coming from.

I only replaced the DSG gearbox oil, so thats what I know. I assume that the mechatronic also sits in the same fluid

You are correct.

The mechatronics unit has green hydraulic fluid in it and the gear cluster has standard amber coloured 75w90s gear oil in it.
