pd160 intake is ample..with green panel or equivialnt its a good improvement...

i have full turbo-back milltek exhaust...best sound ever!

They don't actually do a full turbo-back for the PD100 so have been in touch with Milltek through JKM to see if the one for the PD130/160 will fit, they don't see any reason why not but don't know of anyone who has already done it so gonna order one and hope for the best... May be the first PD100 running it (as far as Milltek is aware anyway)... :funk:

Got them from ebay, theyre supposed to be for the leon but they fit snug. It was real easy to remove the originals.

New mods include.. Tinted windows-Wind deflectors-cc'd Shark fin antenna- cc'd Side strips- anthracite alloys- cc'd and anthracite badges.

There's a few imperfections with the job done by the body shop so bits and pieces will be redone when I can book the car in, the alloys are going from a Matte effect anthracite (un-laquered lots of hardener used in base coat) to a Gloss effect anthracite (laquered) partially because there'll be easier to clean, and also because of better protection for the winter months ahead.

another quick update to follow

Sean

I was bored and having a quick glance at the forum, I have been looking everywhere for pictures of silver MK4s with tints, I am looking at getting mine done but didnt wanna go to dark as it would look alitttle odd IMO but yours look really good! What % are they?

Thanks

The front are light tints the legal maximum so about 30% light reduction I think, and the rear are dark tints (not limo) and if memory serves me right they're about 70-75% light reduction. Limo is about 90-95% light reduction but I think that sort of tinting is unnecessary unless you have something in the car you want to hide i.e a I.C.E build but even then its debatable... Hope that helps

Ive moved to Cowplain now with the mrs. We're just off the A3 so nice and central to everything. The cars starting to come together.

Got a quote from JKM the other day for front Whiteline ARB and powerflex bushes then my suspension work is complete and i can start on the performance side. Not gonna be till after Christmas though as I got insurance this month a service next month which is gonna involve new brakes and 2 new front tyres lol it never ends.

Will have to meet up again soon.

Ouch! Bad luck that mate, my dad had a jack collapse underneath his VW T5 van when changing the rear springs recently, thankfully no damage to that... jack was clearly knackered though.

I haven't a clue how you repair a sill like that, obviously they won't replace it, probably clean it up, fill it and respray?

Bummer, I've never taken the jack out of the boot. Allways use a trolley jack on a subfame mount.
Touch wood I've never had a puncture whilst out and about yet.
Hope it doesnt cost too much to get sorted.

Its scraped back to bare metal so have had to laquer it to prevent rusting. Luckily its not punctured the sill, only indented it. Hopefully it can be pulled back out prepped and painted, still gonna cost a bomb :(

Loving the car mate, she is a beauty :) the tints look very nice too

Shame about the damage, thankfully it's not that noticeable. Get some sideskirts and cover most of it up ;)

Lol I did think that, but I'm a perfectionist and I'd still know it's there. That and I can't find any I like, trying to find something to square of the bottom of the front bumper at the moment...

Ouch, that is pretty nasty, I had that happen to my leon last year, I paid a smart repair guy £190 which wasn't cheap but they did an absolutely perfect job. Good luck getting it sorted.
