Right,

Just stumbled across the forum today and hope you can help? Apologies I have went through the whole forum yet so the question may already have been answered. So my issue is Blind Spot and Rear Mitigation functions, they are un ticked and when I tick them it says they're not functioning. Is it something I'm not doing right as its been into the dealer and they haven't sorted it

Here's a wee vid of the issue

I would imagine that there's some sort of problem with the sensors. I would say that I was surprised that the dealer hasn't sorted it (but if there anything like my local dealer it would be a surprise at all :) ). I've not had that problem, but my blind spot monitors have never worked particularly well anyway. They frequently come on when there's nothing else on the road!

Do you get a red warning sign on the display when you get too close to a bush? I think we have the same model and spec

It's a guide. Possibly variable water on wet and dry days bounce the ultrasound / radar blind spot differently. I always get the potential from the front all round ultrasound when pulling out leaving the village. High bank. You get use to where it sounds.

I can see if reversing to quickly it might think a static bush is going to hit you from the rear, rear cross. 🤔
