What's the 32mm socket for? Do you have to take the hub nut off?

Yep! Hit a snag today. Got the calipers off, pads out, hub nut off (as the discs and bearing is all in one!) but couldn't budge the bolts on the bracket that hold the pads in place. Need to get the bracket off to get the old disc off and the new disc on. Bugger. Gave up, put it all back together and will try and get a garage to do them instead. :censored:

On a brighter note, had my best ever MPG for a tankfull: 52.8 mpg! Even thoug its now colder, I think its due to fitting my winter shield thingey (just like the new Ford Focus' trick grill.... only this one stays on one place!)

Coilovers!

Just picked the car up from the garage. Had my discs and pads changed and the coilovers fitted! I think the front is spot-on for height, might get the rear down a bit more soon. Will see how it settles in the next week!

First few pics (yes, the car is dirty):

that JOM coilovers bud? how are they? hard, soft good bad?

Yep, JOM's. Came off a Pug 307 but they share the same chassis as the C4 (like the Mk4 Ibiza, Fabia and Polo 9n!) Only drove it about a mile home so not sure. Doesn't feel to bad though. A little stiffer than standard clearly but not bouncy at all. I'll have more of a blast tomorrow so will let you know!

Looks much better Lower

I think so. Back might come down a little more though.

A couple more shots...
