iirc addo has run with his disconnected for months. I amy be wrong though.

If i was you i'd take it out, and give it a clean, did mine yesterday and the car runs so much better.

got it off, car runs miles better, alot more smoother, even seems smoiither on idle!

I'd take the maf off, and give it a clean mate ,see if that helps with the problems.

you could clean it (isopropyl alcohol or electronics cleaner) have a search for loads of info on people whove done it in the past. But your usually just putting off the inevitable replacement.

i cleaned mine a few months back, its now pulling what it should, i reckon i had a leaf in there or something , the secondary air pipe was off so i asusme it got sucked in the hole left open.

Mines still runnign fine, i may give it another clean soon cos of having an open filter
