Hi guys. I'm new here. I have an overheating issue with the ibiza. It overheats on idle. The fan wont start up at all. I was told by my bro (mechanic) to use the air con fan it cool it until he can look at it but now that has stopped working. Replaced the coolant temp sensor and thermostat but still overheats. He has said that when engine is running there is a lot of pressure in the water pipe which could mean head gasket faulty. Any other ideas which could cause overheating? Any help would be appreciated
