as it brought the back wheels forward???.
Yeah it has, not a huge amount but it's obvious when you compare it to a standard LCR.
That look fantastic, you must be chuffed to bits. Looks hard as nails now, its amazing what a
lower stance can do for the look of a car!
Thanks very much! I love it although I think that the front wheels sit too far in so as soon as my 15mm spacers arrive for the rear, the 10mm will be up front
. Perfect then.
Looks great , nice
guide for fitting as well as I plan to fit my own as well , rear looks great think I may want it a tad
lower tho , Front looks good as well , must admit your car looks great now it's been resprayed
No worries, hopefully it will
help you and I advise using DPJ's
guide too. If you get stuck then give me a message and I'll
help the best I can but if you get really stuck, maybe I'll come lend a hand. The car looks
lower in real life Dan, if you went
lower than this then I think you may have issues.
must admit your car looks great now it's been resprayed
that looks great jamjay, paintwork looks awesome too!
The respray was well worth it, an expense to do without really but I don't look at the milky top coat in horror anymore!
Very nice stance now I would say it sits spot on imo
Thanks Shaun, although I raised the rear by 7mm today as it was sitting a little
lower than the front. It was a fiddly job, with all the bits attached to the car but I got there.
Looks awesome mate. Prob too low for everyday use but boy that looks mean!
Thanks Tom. I wouldn't want to use it like the every day but for a weekend toy, it's just fine
. I do have to think about the routes I take home now though.
im new to all off this but ive just read threw your whole build and ive got to say mate it looks bang on, i just wish my car looked quite as good as yours but after reading threw this forum looks like theres plenty off stuff on here to
help me on my way with it.
Thanks for the kind words. My car didn't start off this way so give it some time and you'll be well on your way with yours too. Everything I've learnt about this car has been from this forum, just take your time to research everything and then make your choices. I wanted a car that looks good but is subtle, with modifications that are functional and get the most out of what the car already has. Without blowing my own trumpet, if you share the same opinion then you won't go wrong with everything I have done, I think you'll be pleased.
would the splitter hit that kerb?!
Nah, that's a drop kerb and I have a fair amount of clearance. I can still get it onto pavements by shuffling up then a little more carefully.
I'm extremely happy with my car right now and really appreciate all of the feedback. I know I am not the most advanced in terms of modded LCRs but if anyone local to me or at a meet wants me to go over anything, share knowledge or take them for a spin to demonstrate any part of the car, I'll be more than happy.
