Someone tell me if this dent is repairable?

Hi,

I got my ibiza in April this year and noticed when I got it home that there were a couple of very small dents in a vertical line underneath the drivers door handle... very small, no paint damage and only noticeable in certain lights. I took it back to the dealers (Coupers in St Albans) who said they'd take a look at it for me. However nothing was done apparently because of the position of the dents and the fact that there was no access inside the panel that close to the door handle to allow them to push the dents out.

I left it but the dents annoy me as I keep noticing them. I've now noticed a similar but even smaller dent on the passenger side door in the same position!! I guess the PO's (a security firm) must have parked close to a pole or something.

Are Coupers correct in saying that these dents cannot be recified?? I'm probably a bit late in asking this question to get them to agree to do it but at least I'd know if I can get something done!

i know that there is a dent repair that use pins that stick to the paint through heating them up, then they tap in out from the outside of the car then heat the pin up again to release it from the paint. might be worth finding more out about this

Is this the sort of thing you were talking about...?? I guess it's body shop or mobile dent repair stuff not a DIY job!!

same sort of thing but that is for unpainted surfaces as it welds itself to the pannel with a tack but same idea

Thanks for the input. I'll keep looking and maybe oneday the ding's will get fixed.

no s remeber loking in halford and reading about it on there dent repair kits so pro's will probably be doing that sort of thing
pimp my ride just drill holes and hammer the fcuk out of it and fill with filler lol not the best way really lol

So, it prob is a DIY job???

TBH I was considering buying a kids bow and arrow (you know the ones with the rubber suction tips) and pulling it out myself!!! Probably not a good idea though!!!! I'll take a look in Halfords when I next go.

the only things I've found online for "paintless dent removal" are for dent "massaging" from behind - but this is no good for me.

i think companies will do it i just saw the kit in halfords dont laugh at the plunger ive used it on a massive dent the other week on mates car pulled the big bit out well lol!

My brother once pulled a load of plaster out of the outside wall of my bedroom with a sink plunger. Dad put the blame on me for hitting the wall from the inside... My little bro let me take the blame for ages before he owned up to "pretending to be a dalek!!" Powerful things plungers - they certainly can exterminate dents!!!

yea usa ive seen loads off filler but probable because they cant get pannels for thoses cars anymore as they are that old!

Im used dent magician to repair a dent in my door after I caught a lamp post whilst parking To get inside the door they drilled a small hole in the end of the door near the catch approx 10-12mm and used rods to push the dent out. Door looks good as new and I thought they would never do it as it was pretty bad. only sign is a black grommet they put in the whole, but there are are few on that part of the door anyway.
