Hi All,

I am n desperate need of some cupra R alloys but have had no luck in the wanted and for sale forum. Does anyone in here have any for sale or know of anyone that is selling some.

Thanks for your time

You'll be lucky to find any, especially at a good price!
I've looked before for ages on eBay etc and only ever seen single ones for sale.
The one full set (2nd hand) i seen was for sale around £600 and with no tyres i think...

I have seen some on ebay at the mo for sale, but its on an auction and its got like 6 days left. Have emailed to see if i can get them to finish it ealry. I did go to seat but they want over grand for them!!

I new of some for sale a month ago at Dave Sheldon Tyres in Manchester, they looke in very good condition and were coated in a shiny anthracite glaze...might be worth a call

i dont know how much they were and i even took pics for a memeber on briskodanet called oldbei and sent them to him...ive deleted them now but if you contact him he might still have the pics....dont know the number but do a search on google and it will come up

I do lke the LCr wheels, not chavey but agresive, much better than the ones that seem to be going on the new Cupra.

However they have a very poor finish, very little paint, check the corners and the sides of the spokes, they appear specked where the undecoat shows through, I eventually after a lot of fighting, engineers reports etc. with Seat UK (nearly took them to court over it) I got another set (of which i sent another back).

The standard tyres are pants, don't pay much for them.

I think that they look the part on the Leons, Fair enough they may not be finished well but i want to get the powdercoated black so i wont even see that. I would buy some other alloys but unless you put them on the car you dont know what they will look like, they alloys themselves may look the business but when on the car they look...... well rubish putting it polite

agree that for the money the LCR alloys go for even 2nd hand you can get nicer wheels
but its all down to personal preference, if you want LCR wheels then stick to your guns
seen a pic of some sparkly black powdercoated ones not too long ago and they looked really good!

I saw them ones and they kind of put me off, looked a bit over the top. I have seen a Red LCR with white LCR wheels and that look good. You are right about the prices though!

I did see them on there and had them on my watch list, within a day or so they went straight to 600! that stupid money for second hand alloys!

They're worth what people will pay for them. If you work out the price of a new set, they're over £250 each, then add £125ish for a tyre. you're talking £1500 for a new set. So £600-800 is what people will pay.

agree^ just like the 306 gti wheelmania replicas sure i heard a set went for 1k, as there were limited amount of them
