re coding remote key

does any one know how to recode my remote key on my ibiza 03 plate if not its off to the main dealer with a big load of dosh

How do you mean, recode it?

Have you changed the battery and need to re-configure it? AFAIK, it's in the manual. But also check the flip key thread in this forum.

depends on what you mean by recoding, if you mean coding it to open doors etc theres a sequence of things you do for that do a search for it, and if its the transponder you need "re coding" then dealer can only do it

not true. if you know what your doing and have the right info, this can be done with vag-com

yer av hear about that isnt it a bit of a faf with the mk4 though? and by sounds a dont reckon he will be using vag. o and al when are those pipeline cards being sent out? u seem to be more up on this than me

immob - get someone else to do it unless you find it interesting, but all the info is on here on how to do it and stuff you need.

Pipeline - not a clue mate, had it in my sig for ages now, should probably change it as nothing seems to be happening. maybe just a scam to get names, addresses, and emails maybe (hope not though)
