Good stuff, nice one mate! When I finally get my damn car back from the body shop (tomorrow now with a bit of luck...) I'll be able to fit mine and do the guide I keep promising people!

Did you have any trouble fitting them? How long did it take you?

ta peeps, well happy everything lights up. i paid £253 for them n that was to get fitted aswell. i had a service done at same time n i got me ne brakes being fitted 2morrow :)

an expensive few months, re-map very soon :)

sounds like you paid roughly £100-150 to get them fitted, bitch of a job to do propperly (and i dont mean ram/tuck the ballast underneath/on top of whatever it'll push up against.)

the kit was £200 that was a deal on at the time, he aid took couple hours. under the engine u wouldnt notice anything different he did an A1 job
£253 alot of more for what they are but dont regret it

got me dump valve on order, may book me re-map in 2morrow.

who fitted the HIDs really nice guy n knows his stuff

£253  :-o

That's £188 more than I paid. And the kit I've got will hopefully make fitting them properly (i.e. safely, securely and not obstructing anything) a doddle.

I really hope you like them a lot for that money!

there so many diff prices i found, got these as i heard a good view on them n i said with the leon i dont wanna touch it rather pay 4 good work to be done, alright if your hands on i guess :)

how was the trial the weekend???

lets say im impressed!!!! getting a milltek s/s zorst and race cat, and also a FMIC so i could possibly have to go to revo stage two!!! i drove everywhere with a big smile on my face!!!!

fair play nice one, just drop mine off for me milltek brakes, be nice to stop again lol
so gotta be done when pay day comes round again

what are the LCRs lights like as standard? how do they compare to say the Focus's lights as i was very impressed with that cars lights.

Equally as bad if you're referring to the Mk1 Focus. I have had both and they are both 'OK' but not great.

i thought they were quite good lights personally. but then i was used to driving a 97 Rover 216Si which was a peice of garbage (or should i say carbage) and im driving my dads toyota corolla at present while i save for my LCR (should be in may!!)

So are these HID lights a really worth while investment? do they only do the lower beam or can they do both, either/or?

You can get high beam HID's too, but the general opinion is don't bother, just stick with main beams as they are more than enough for general driving. Can't say if they are worth the investment personally, as I've not fitted mine yet. But others that have certainly seem happy :)
