Just spoken to my dealer and he informed me that the winter pack option on the new Cupra is just heated wiper washer jets and not heated seats or headlight washers.
Has anyone else been told this by there dealer as there could be a few annoyed people out there if they get there car and realise they have paid £275 for heated washer jets!!!

That has saved me £275 on the price :)

Not too sure if the Cupra has Xenons as Std, but if so headlight washers are a legal requirement with these fitted.

well i will be cancelling that off my order if ur dealer is rite..already cancelled the ipod connection as you lose the aux in, had to add the tomtom docking station as all u get otherwise is the prewiring for £25.00 he didnt tell me that either found out about on here..Thank god for this forum they know more than the dealers!!!!

No, no need to worry, just an odd sensation if you're driving at speed on dark twisty roads as the light pattern follows the steering direction. Its amazing how much more visibility this provides on this type of road....Takes Xenon lighting to an even 'higher' level (if that's possible!!). :D

:) I've done the right thing then... ta.

I really hope this is incorrect. If its not, then SEAT are starting to p*** me off. How can a Winter Pack be £275 on all versions of a model yet not have the same items? Its hardly rocket science putting heating elements inside a seat!!
Now starting to think more and more about other cars. Been offered a Megane R26 with a mega discount and that has been getting some good reviews.

Hmm... I was counting on the tomtom mount being an after sales purchase for me maybe 6 months down the line. And didn't know if it would interfere with the aux in and bluetooth kit.

Right i have the official press pack in front of me, we got on Wednesday. I didn't have it earlier because I was too lazy to go and get it from upstairs, it is weekend after all. :p

But it lists the Optional Equipment as:

Metallic Paint
Rear Side airbags
Convenience Pack (rain sensor, light sensor, and auto dimming mirror)
Electric Sunroof
Winter Pack (heated front seats, plus heated headlamp washer jets and wipers)
Sat-Nav with Bluetooth
iPod connection
USB connection
Bluetooth comms pack

I will check with my dealer on Monday and also consult our press contact at SEAT for confirmation.

If they have decided to strike the heated seats from the Winter Pack, I would expect a price reduction, or a deletion of the option all together.

But we'll find out for sure, in my experience the word of one dealer should not be taken as canon!!
