Fabia rear wiper

6Y6955435 - Trim (Cap) £1.43

I've just ordered this lot for myself at £17.85 all in!
I'd probably best tell my husband he's got a little job to do on the car!

Its a simple job - only took me 5 minutes. Getting the old arm off is the most difficult bit.

Imo the aero wiper looks alot better than the Fabia wiper. I have a Fabia and I swapped it's wiper for a Polo one. Im betting the Polo wiper's too small for the Leon isn't it?

Sorry but I'm now confused

After all the posts about caps not fitting etc etc and what the right part numbers are, would someone mind giving me a definitive answer on what parts/ part numbers I should go for?

Got myslef some valeo front wiper blades to fit tomrrow and I'm off to the skoda dealer after fitting them to get a fabia rear blade so just want to make sure I get the correct parts.

I said when I first got the car I wouldn't be doing any serious modding to it. Only done minor things so far and other than a remap in the future, it's going to stay that way hopefully.

Just ask the parts guy for a Fabia Estate Wiper arm, Fabia Estate wiper blade, and a fabia hatchback wiper bolt cover. They'll know what you want.

The hatchback cap fits the estate arm perfectly. I ordered these parts and fitted them about a month ago. 19 Euros (£13.50) from my SEAT Händler.

Well since probably half the Leons on SCN have the Estate wiper with the hatchback cap I think you're likely to be wrong...

yeah, but you've already stated that you have the arm with the part number without the A - i.e. the hatchback arm

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=17240 I think you'll find the part number changed, I bought the Estate wiper arm but when worked out which parts fit on the Leon it didn't have the A on the end, the number subsequently changed. The hatchback wiper is about 2" shorter than the estate one so it's pretty obvious I had the estate one...

From Pabs guide,

I can confirm 100% that these are the correct parts and part numbers. This is what I ordered from the dealer in Germany. Its a Skoda/SEAT/Audi/VW multi franchise and I checked the parts when they arrived against a Fabia estate. Wiper Arm and Blade are definitely from the estate and cover is definitely from the hatchback. Everything fits the Leon perfectly.
