starting motor wire?

has anyone had this problem?
turn key and nothing happens.
read thread in faq area about tommmineh having same problem and wondered if anyone with the diesel engine had the problem, and how it was fixed? do i need a new connector block or just bodge it up with a spade connector? any help wouldn't go a miss.

its a common problem on the beezer THINK gaz had had this problem too! and many more ppl! will be a dealer job

I had the same problem with my old Ibiza TDI Sport, but luckily it was still under warranty so I just got a tow from the AA to the dealer and left it there while the AA got me a hire car for a couple of days.

its not something you really wanna bodge as it could pack up on a rainyday after the pub!

its definatly thestarter motor thats your problem if it dont turn over! as long as your battery aint flat! ring the stealers and get it booked in

i can see the wire thats snapped off
just looks like it needs stripping back and a new connector fitting.
the only thing is is the room! well lack of.
is it easy to remove the battery and it's tray or do you still think i should goto stealers?
