loud knocking noise coming from front

i have a terrible knocking noise coming from my left side front wheel the car as been lowered by 35mm i have had new anti roll bar links fitted about 3 weeks ago sounds like the bloody wheel is coming off it only does it when going over bumps i have jacked the car up t 2 c if if i can find nothing loose but everything seams OK u guys have any suggestions to what the hell it is

I would suggest a worn ball joint as mine only ever clunked when going over bumps aswell. Replaced the ball joint and all was fine

is this a English paper or just a forum whats does it matter about full stops and capital letters.

It's a little hard to ignore posts with titles like this. It's the equivalent of standing in a very large room full of people and shouting at the top of your voice!

Had the wishbone replaced with new ball joint and that but still is knocking.
Could it be my front strut like i say it is lowered on coil-overs and only bangs the left side

Try jacking it up! and moving the wheel left to right, and the suspensions. You may hear it! do it with both wheels

done that m8 its is only the left side what does it.
tried all the bolts all seam to be nice and tight.

How was the car lowered? What size alloys does it have, have the shocks/ springs been changed?

Could it have something to do with the subframe?

I havent had my Leon for a while now, but I had a knocking on my Mondeo and it was the subframe.
