Although I don't know what the difference between the engines is, I DO know that there are 3 versions of the 1.9Tdi engine for the new Leon, namely BKC, BLS & BXE.
I know this as i've seen them listed in Leon Technical data. They are all Pump-Deuse (PD) 77KW engines but that's all I know just now.
Seat's main site just shows the oval trim for all 1.9tdi and 1.6 petrol
and then the twin trims for 2.0tdi and tfsi cars
So wouldnt have thought you would have a problem of course you could check your manuals to see what engine number your car has it should be on a sticker in the front of the service book
Well I finally got round to ringing the dealer about this. Turns out my 07 1.9TDi Stylance has the BXE engine. Was told the BXE might have a wider exhaust so will not fit. The BXE is the current engine, has anyone else with an 07 car tried the exhaust trim?
I think you might have answered my Question, I have 2006/56 1.9 TDi Altea Reference Sport with the BXE engine and same applies for the Exhaust trim. I have just contacted my local dealer and they didn't really know.
I am taking the Altea for Service on Monday, so will try and check the diameter of the exhaust of an older car against mine.
