Well with the state of the roads i thought it would be usefull to guard against expense of a new tyre but i cannot find any firms that do it at reasonable cost too risky for them i guess...........

is it really worth it??? as for the leon and ibiza youll go through a set of tyres every 6 months or just go and buy run on flats more money for somthing that MIGHT happen

If it's the state of the road that causes the damage then you can claim back the cost of any necessary repair from the authorities. Councils etc. spend £££££££s on claims from people who have had their vehicles damaged by roads they can't be bothered to fix [:@]

Made me chuckle this morning, what a loada rubbish, god they really will insure you for anything!
:wtf:

Ive had three punctures in my rear left tyre in under a year, but thats only two repairs + a new tyre, so probably about £160's worth, and thats being unlucky! so cant see how paying £149 is worth it.

Not rubbish if you make a claim though, tyres are approx £140 each however as said the insurance cost is prohibitive hence my original question with the words insure cheaply in.........

Anyone considered using Ultraseal? It prevents punctures before they happen and is safe in wheels at high speeds.

With the state of the roads these days, this insurance could be a damn good idea! If it's around £150 a year, that's just over the price of a new tyre if you have 18" alloys.

So all it would take is a couple of pot holes, a nail in the road or anything else that we all have to deal with and you're money will have been well spent. Not quite the stupid idea some people make out.

If you get a nail puncture, will they just pay to have the tyre repaired or replace the tyre?
