Hey IHI guys,

Been quoted £1020 for an IHI Beeza....am 23....with 5yrs NCB... a minor accident (£500) from 2002, and a speeding ticket from 2003 (3pts)....

Do you think this is a good quote?

Did your insurers ask for ALL details, or did you give them a power figure??

Cheers...

Mike

you've got to think about replacing all mods if you claim. Greenlight replace mods 'like for like' which is a must with probably £6,7,8K of mods on an IHI car. A lot of companies will just put the car back to standard!

Will give greenlight a go then... thing is I am not 100% sure what I need to declare when declaring an IHI turbo lol

How much detail do you go to? Do you state a power figure?

Mike

I told them everything (even down to spacers and strut brace) that way you can get everything replaced.

I'd get a spec list of another IHI and read it all out to them. Include the things like bigger injectors and MAF - they all cost money.

Also if you make a claim they will find any way possible not to pay out.
A strut brace for example can knock the opposite wing out if bumped so if they dont know about it they wont pay.

Greenlight were awesome for me matey so am sure they can beat your quote..

If you have a search on here there are some details and i believe we get a discount too!

I ended up emailing a full car spec list to greenlight and they worked out cheaper than having a standard car with most other policies!!!

Greenlight won't charge much more anyway for IHI they quoted me an extra £50 from my 220bhp car to a 330bhp ibiza! List everything

mikey im still intrigued to when your going ihi!
are you getting it done to yours or selis? or even buying a new cupra with it already on?

details please :p
