i dont get the max flow rate argument? when tuning, your tweaking boost but thats not the only factor you use to change/increase the powerband. then theres engine condition. boost isnt the only variable.
a true custom map suited to an individual engine is always going to do better than a generic one. whats generic for the lcr? 260? give custom map a 5% gain on a very good engine and youve got your figure.
jabba have never run my ko3s over 1 bar to get 242 with just a sports cat. so its not just flow rates. ive twice seen people leave there with just ok results dyno wise
im over the moon to have a jabba 320bhp dynoplot, but it wont be 320 next time even on the same rollers. too many variables. so its a guide only
if jabbas rollers are generous wouldnt everyone get great figures?
Trauma, I think, and I think only, that the max flow rate is to do with the actual physical limitations of the turbo
i.e. only getting so muc power from a turbo, due to only being able to physicially flow so much air, therefore equating to a K03s managing 250bhp or there abouts as a maximum (with other mods of course)
mind you, when you throw in other aspects, such as how healthy the engine is, sensors, mafs etc etc, this can play a factor in how well the car will tune
Im running well over 300 in my LCR
