Just wondered what options are about for a decent clutch setup.

I've heard of people running the sachs vr6 clucth and G60 flywheel on IHI.

I'll be goin ATP GTRS eliminator soon so i wanna get the clutch done whilst my engine is out now.

Cheers.

Spec gets my vote.
single mass flywheel (G60 type) and 228mm Vr/G60 SPEC clutch in whatever flavour you desire.
Stage 3+ for me

Whats the damage on those setups bill and where from?

And i cant see me wanting the same clamping force you'd need!

So its a case of lightened G60 flywheel and finding the right 228mm clutch i'd need.

Spec do various stages.. ~$470 approx
you could consider a VR6 stock type clutch from LUK or SACHs also on G60 flywheel. You would want to get the flywheel bolts to suit the G60 setup as well.

ECS are doing a Sachs Power clutch with 14lb steel flywheel for £376 which will hold 280-330whp.

Can you get Sachs Power clutches in the UK?

I dont rate SACHs power clutch personally. slips a bit on jans lupo on just k03s full load. poxy shite

Another vote for Spec here.
Got stage 3+ on mine (major overkill for my set-up - long story).
Nice bit of kit. Very much like OE in feel.

JBS supplied it to me mate.

It was expensive though. £800 odd (including flywheel). It can handle something like 500lb ft torque or thereabouts. I'm sure the do stage 1, 2 and 3 kits which I'd imagine are cheaper and more suitable for your requirements.

i have a g60 flywheel if you're looking for one which id sell.

£70 plus postage. Looks fine to me, no chunks missing out of it or anything
