Tailgate

Will a MK3 tailgate fit the MK2 easy, if not how hard would it be to use the rear lights off the MK3?

I don't have the experience to comment - BUT although the chassis is the same, the shape isn't exactly. Judging by my time spent with polo's and seeing the mk3 I wouldn't say either is easily possible without at least a small amount of fabrication.

The mk3 lights deffo wont fit a mk2 boot without a lot of work!!!

Hmm, shame that, want to change the rear lights, but hate the lexus & 3D ones. Anybody found any nice replacement lights then?

front end is all bolt on even done to the door gaps being the same

rear end is possible BUT you will need a mk3 rear panel inc the side secyions under the lights (gaps different shape) and either replace or modify the rear 1/4 panels

ive tinted mine almost the same colour as the car (magic black) that looks cool.

Anythings possible, you just need a decent bodyshop.
