has anyone on here fitted KW's? although i think rash has convinced me to get the FK's.

is it dropped all the way in the pic? im wantin it slammed but theres ridiculous amount of speed bumps where i stay so dunno if i can go down all the way :(

Order my KW last week, hopefully here this week, then fitted on Saturday along with the rear ARB if that ever turns up. Will post pictures when done.

are jabba in the flooded area ???? could be why its taking so long i rang up a few weeks ago and asked where it was ect and it gave them a kick up the arse and it was there in the next day!

Got them fitted today KW V1's, will take some photo's once they have settled abit (also bluetooth dongle is at work.)... Simple picture is that you can't fit your finger between wheel and body. If you look under the cupras bumper there is vertical plastic bit thats rubbing on speed humps..

Used to be able to get home in 3 directions now it limited to 1 with a HUGE reduction in speed when it come to a hill.

Rear ARB is waiting to be painted £10 bargin....

im guessin you hav got it slammed on its pea's then?!!

whats the ride like on the V1's, is there a big improvement from the standard
suspension?

hope you dnt mind me askin but how much did you pay for them n where did you get them from?

im still undecided on wether to get FK silverlines or KW V1's.

Yeah whats the ride like on the v1's is it a more controlled ride, i mean, like a bit smoother, and copes better with mid corner bumps etc, with improved handling?? Does the v1 kit have adjustable damping???

KW V1's I think have a better ride than the standard suspension, not really tested them yet as I'm going easy with then and letting then settle in, and see what adjustment are required.

V1's don't have adjustable damping those are V2's but at over £100 more and using then for every day use didn't see a point to ajustable damping.

Price I paid was £621 from AwesomeGTi, cheaper than advertised on their website.

lol, was gonna say mate, its looking a bit like a 70's dragster at the minute with the back up in the air! :D

Get sum pics up when ur done, am curious to see how it sits, thinking of getting kw's for mine! What was the quality of the components like? Were they easy to fit?

Conpoments are quality all TUV approved, stainless steel, Purple covers, yellow springs, As alll new coilovers it hard to take off the original "legs" and cause these are around 1/4 shorter than stock you have to jack up your ARB so it sits in the hole of the coilover.

You use your existing top mounts and dust covers so they need removing from the old units

pic of the back wheel the gap looks huge sure that isnt a before pic?? the overall shot the back looks much lowe and look ace!

lookin good ric2001 and it will be even sweeter once its level. £621 seems a decent price i havent saw them that cheap but still over £100 dearer than the FK's.

its decision time for me but thanks for your help guys, although i have to admit im even more confused on what to get now than i was before!!!!!

Looks nice at the front :) but the back is a bit to high.

Mine is level, check it out: down under.;)

Ric 2001, did u ever post pics of when u adjusted the back. iv got my KW V1's waiting to be fitted so just curious to see what it looks like? have u dropped as far as they will go and how practical or unpractical are they. not sure wether to go the full drop! one last thing as well, have you had to replace the droplinks?
