OK Peeps,

Less than a week to go to the Track Day at Wroughton so............ who is going to be there?

I am on the afternoon session (due to a 3 hour drive:cry:) but, morning and afternoon drivers should meet at lunch. Consequently, who will be there!

RPM

That was a great afternoon, good to meet people&follow them back up the M4!

Im crap with names but I was with a non FR leon for miles on the M4 and saw another FR then followed a Cupra onto the A404, anyone on here????

I was 'cone'an the destroyer!

It was good to see what a Leon can do when pushed to the limits....and beyond;)Still in shock from winning the telementry lap, from what I kept getting told during my track days my racing lines leave a lot to be desired:confused:

Cracking day.............

Thought it was going to be a "What next!!!" type of day when GazP pointed out a 2 inch piece of broken drill bit sticking out of my nearside rear tyre:censored::censored: But luckily it appears to have only penetrated the "thick" part of the tread. (Thanks for the loan of the Leatherman Gaz!)

Well done to Gaz, Dave and the other gent:confused: in the telementry competition:funk: I think my own attempt was a bit more :headhurt:

Well worth the trip down on which, by the way, I achieved my best mpg to date:funk: 240 mile round trip

Trip down: 3hrs 40min with a 20 min stop = 33mpg

Trip back: 2hrs 20min with no break = 37mpg

That is of course according to the onboard computer:think:

P. S. See what you ment about your previous car Gaz. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!

Remember, just dont look at tree's! :p

I was on the Sat Nav and gave you a flash, as well as talking to er'indoors - had to stop at the Reading services and buy some greenery to keep her happy! (met the white Cupra there)

Well done Gaz for winning, I had a great day out, thanks to Anton and Nigel for having a laugh as we went cone killing!

In the TDI at M4 speeds, i was getting 50ish MPG, but on the way back to pompey this morning, I was getting low 30's hmmmmmm, why?

I even managed to give it some stick driving straight through a small roundabout on the A33, with some Direct Input Steering! Check me out! Geek!

Nice to meet you all, and cheers for the banter from the sideways walking Snowdrop!!

Just remember the Senior Service RPM!

Cheers all and have a nice day, as i sit here resplendent in my Yellow Seat T-Shirt! And thanks to Seat for puuting it all on.

Dave

Ps the heated seats were lovely this morning!
