as my car is coming off company insurance got myself a quote 960 quid with a 850 quid excess with swiftcover.com

bearing in mind i have three points and they wont accept my 3yrs no claims bonus because im 22 and it was on a company policy!!

i dont think its too bad tbh.....what do u think good/bad???

Thats not bad at all, i pay around £860 i think and i'm 27! :(

Altho i have a 3 points, a claim last year and all mods declared.

Your excess is a little steep tho.

result!!!!!!850 quid with direct line 3yrs ncb and points included!!!
well happy with that.... although they havent asked much bout the no claims details but never the less its insured as of 00.01 am tomorrow!!

I take it you are male?? I really hope I can afford to insure my car again come renewal time in April. Paid £1200 with £750 excess on a multicar policy last time round on a LC!

Bloody hell thats really expensive with that excess! Im 21, got 2 years ncb, no points and no claims and only paying £705 on my LC with an excess of £250 with bell.co.uk

oops...should have read the first post again, chriswilks doesn't really leave much room for confusion!

I had only had my licence for four months last April, and its business insurance which bumps it up too.

Im 21 with 2 years no claims and tesco incuraces comes up at just over £650 for the FR

i'm with admiral...just had my renewal £549....had 6 points in 2004 and a write off 2 years ago! thats on my LC my excess is like £300 or something

right hows this for a kick in the balls just checked through the details an my reg is coming back as a leon se 1.8 20v this is not good !!!!

Mine does this if I go through a confusing insurance middleman ;)

My insurance was £820 w/ £250 excess, 3 yrs NCB, 3 points (from my bike which I have 7 yrs NCB but they won't let me use that) and business class 1. My missus was quoted £700, she's 26 w/ 5 yrs NCB.

A lot of it goes on where you live though.

Just had my renewal in from Bell End Direct - £221.00.

28 Years old, 11 years no claims, Clean licence (funnily enough) SWMBO on policy and a good postcode. Protected no claims, and a £150 voluntary excess.

Just Confused.com'd my details and Elephant are quotong £182! Result. I remember the days when that was my monthly payment! Cant beat the good old group 8 FR TDi!

HAve you tried confused mate? They have an option to put in company no claims. Do you have a proof of no claims from your companies insurance company as Direct Line will ask for proof?

Cheers.
