high-ish mileage mk3 cupra

im going to look at a cupra which has covered 110k miles, im quite tempted to buy it as its fairly cheap but kind of put off by the mileage. do the engines wear well or do they suffer with high miles? also i was hoping to get revo if i did buy it but again wasnt sure if this would be a bad idea with a high mileage one?

any help, tips and pointers would be very much appreciated.

they want about £3700 for it. i ve seen lower mileage 1s for about the same price.
its from a dealer and i ve got a mk4 golf 4motion so thinking of chopping it in for the cupra.

126k cupra 2850, you might consider that, cheaper than the 3700 which seems alot for a 110k miler.

my 4motions done 52k, its a 2001 so fairly low. its a fantastic car but its costing me a lot to run, fuel wise, because i do so many miles.

I'm a mk3 cupra owner in norwich and i know of 4 others.

Jacupra.. you work at VW dont you?

Anyway.. 110k is alot, and you could get it cheaper than that.. my mate got his, 75k for £2,500. It had minor damage but price of repair was £200. I'd keep hunting mate.

My bros just got a Golf GTI 1.8T with 109k, but it runs sweeter and quiter than my Cupra (70k), really couldnt beleive how mint it is. If its been looked after then i don't see an issue.

Mines 133k miles Fully rebuilt AYP engine,FDSH from seat,Spax RSR Adjustables,007p DV,Pipercross filter,and in immaculate condition for 3300quid...

Bargain tbh...Mileage Mean nothing if it been well looked after!

you may of worked on my 4motion, its spent a fair amount of time at VW! its a black 3 door one with the 17" santa monicas, Y reg.

if memory serves me right i think i saw a blue cupra on the ring road a couple of weeks ago. and come to think of it i ve seen a yellow one as well.....

i ll keep eye out, if anyone beeps u in a black mk4 golf it maybe me

The wheels are sorta pearlescent, blue and white kinda cool. I'm gonna sell it in a years time when i got travelling. It's in the garage getting a new gear box at the moment!
